Cattle at the Show

Cattle are a big part of what the Sydney Royal Easter Show is all about. The Sydney Royal Cattle Show, held during the Sydney Royal Easter Show, is one of the most prominent and prestigious cattle shows in the country, awarding major prize money to the winners as well as a coveted mark of achievement for the top breeders.

In the Dairy Farmers Milking Barn and the Dairy Farmers Working Dairy you can see some of the dairy cows that give us the milk and dairy products that are vital for building and maintaining strong bodies.

In the preparation area you can watch as cattle are prepared for competition – and cattle coiffure includes a blow-dry treatment as well as a thorough scrub. Cattle are also a major feature of the Grand Parades, one of the most impressive events of the whole Show.
