Woodchop

It’s one of the ultimate spectacles of the Show when the men and women let loose with the axe and the woodchips fly.

The best axe wielders from around the world will vie for the title of ‘World Champion’ in the Underhand, Standing Block, Single Handed Sawing and crowd favourite; the TreeFelling.

In 2012 the world’s best Sawyers will compete in the Double Handed Sawing World Championship to be held on the 20th anniversary of the late George Foster, father of David Foster. Champions from the past go up against some of the sports younger and up and coming competitors.
